No you dont. Personally I felt the begining to be a bit convaluted. The quest line though is quite fun. Kind of like Oblivion, the begining made no sense and then you were left on your own to figure out what to do.
And the MP stories are totally different then the SP campaign.
Oddly this game looks intriguing , a different take on a racer.
I think what a lot of people here forget is that the game is 1)considered a budget title, and will be sold for $49 2)the open world is huge, so don't expect supreme graphics.
I for one enjoyed the 1st one immensely and will be getting this day one.
It'a a good game, I really like it. Been at it for about 8 hours now, and haven't finished Chapter 1 yet, so there is a lot to do.
Luckily with Persona I have 250gb, with 30mbs speed. With the 15mbs option the data was unlimited.

I love the bonus races and the rewards that they give. I usually tune the car just a little bit better then what is out there. Usually by the last lap I am in 1st place. Learned this from the 1st bonus race where I tuned the car to the max, and was in 1st place just after the 3rd lap. That's when it got boring.
It's also a game based on the film genre called "Film Noir" or "black film" in English.

Just curious as to why you say not compatible with the Logitech wheel. As this would be a console decision for me? I'm not dissing I am just curious where you got the info from?

But the industry does not buy the consoles, consumers do, 95% of who do not read internet web pages to see who has the strongest exclusive line up. Unfortunately they purchase with their wallets, and tend to purchase what is usually cheaper.
Any one remember that god awful game Turning Point : Fall Of Liberty, where in an alternate universe Germany invaded America. This time around it's the North Koreans. I don't know about you but the story has me intrigued. Hopefully the game play is equally as good.

I'm new to the mobile gaming aspect. Recently purchased a Galaxy S, and DL'd Angry Birds, and I am hooked. Though I cant see very many games being incredibly exciting? and as for the controls, that will be weird also.
Damn the game is looking good, with a decent story behind it!! Hope it lives up to the hype!!
TDU1 was awesome, I cannot wait for this!!!
The game's gone gold and is realeasing in North America February 8th, and I believe a week after that in Europe.
Unless GI was basing their review off of beta/debug code?
